This is a one of a kind watercolour drawing of an Oystercatcher is influenced by the  composition and simplicity of traditional Japanese woodblock prints and natural history illustration.
Created with fine pen stippling and soft watercolour washes, it uses negative space to emphasise the form and character of the bird.
